What's "Be Well"?
Be Well is a student driven and student run program offered for Nutrition and Food students at Ryerson University, from junior to senior years. Events are run weekly, at the new space provided by the school (KHW 77a and KHW 362), to give students the time to de-stress, unwind, relax and network with fellow peers. Alongside the relaxation time, the program offers a variety of events which offer a choice of physical activity programs; past events include Dance Central for Xbox, and Salsa classes. Be Well is meant for the student, a mid-week drop in event available to take a breather from endless hours in the library. Treats are always provided! We are hoping to expand by facilitating a variety of student suggested activities such as painting, soccer, yoga and an aromatherapy workshop.

“I enjoy the gathering and games! Get to know people, chillax, hangout. Kind of reminds me of high school times. We should all play dodgeball in the lower gym sometime! Something to definitely look forward to during the week.”
“Good opportunity for everyone in the program to get together and relax and talk. Fun environment! Learn new things from people in different years”
“I'm writing this e-mail to show my appreciation for the "Be Well" initiative. What a good idea to keep students connected! I would love to have it every Wednesday.. right in the middle of the week.. to kick back and relax..”
“I think its a great idea to have student led groups and gatherings as it enables students to have a place to hang out and network with others in the nutrition program from various years. The complimentary treats and coffee were a great touch, a good way to attract starving students! I hope to see more events and gatherings like this in the future and I'm sure it will gain popularity quickly.”
